Outstanding food. Quaint setting. Easy free parking. Top of its game in unassuming venue.

this is the neighborhood place everyone goes to and everyone prays stays under the radar for another season. bricked up and cozy with solid staff, classics like bolognese, and a lot of heart.

On Boston mags for the 50 best restaurants for many years, we finally got there tonight!Cozy, and warm and friendly service accentuated the solid Italian fare. The $40 prix fixe for this quality is hard to beat anywhere.

Great dinner/service. Had to rush out before full 4 course restaurant week meal could be served because it took a little longer than expected and we had a concert to go to. That said - the staff was incredibly apologetic and adjusted the bill in a more than fair manner. Everything we had received/eaten was absolutely delicious.

When I went to La Morra, it was for an event that had predetermined meals. I sampled multiple plates and all were top notch. I would highly recommend visiting if you are longing for the North End but do not want to leave Brookline. Can't wait to visit again!

cozy place off route 9. Duck confit dish on special was good. Green salad as appetizer was well seasoned. Not a vegetarian friendly place. Menu states that vegetarian options are available upon request but that leaves 2 dishes where they just take the meat products out. They offered some of their sides as vegetarian options though a lot of those also have meat and together don't constitute a meal. Was told price of dish would be adjusted based in meatless option but that didn't happen. Had cauliflower risotto w friend capers. Bland, uninteresting. Nice bar. Would return for a glass of wine to try their appetizer cheese plate.

Amazing Italian food, great service. Only minus was we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated, even though we reserved a table. Arancini is a must have!!

Got the 4 course meal and started with the farro salad, on to pasta with fish, then pork entre and finally dessert. All courses we're delicious. Service was great and the place was very nice.

Went for restaurant week. Got a delicious 4 course meal with wine pairings. The staff was awesome, the food was delicious, the wine was tasty. Will be going back.

Loved this little neighborhood gem. The food was creative and very delicious. The entrees were a bit pricey but the serving sizes were on the larger side and it tasted so good I didn’t even care. Definitely give this place a try!

The food is plenty enough to rate this jewel of a restaurant 5 stars... and the exceptionally attentive staff rate an additional 5 stars! If you're ever anywhere near them, do yourself the incredible favor of booking a meal... and better yet, book your next corporate or family affair. Your guests will be talking about La Morra for ages to come.

Specials were really good! My dessert came little later than expected but it was good! Good service!

Recent place for Italian food. Love the liver pate. The truffle pasta is OK. A lot a shaved truffle but the flavor is not quite there. The seafood stew is really good with good lobster chunks and tender squid.

Great atmosphere and wine list. Our food came out way too salty though. Hopefully just an accident!

Exquisite cuisine. The Prix fixe dinner is a real bargain!

Not a surprising experience as La Morra doesn't exude an air of being above it's station, but delivers a high quality and solidly built meal. Staff is attentive and goes through the fine dining motions like a well oiled machine. Food arrived quickly and was well presented, perfectly cooked, and balanced beautifully for taste. Solid five stars.

This is a brilliant jem in a surprising location. Food was delicious and interesting (dishes were never boring!). The lady who took our orders and brought our food had a perfect balance between attentiveness, helpful and intrusive!A perfect spot to make into our new local corner.

This place was just ok. Hard to tell that it was open from the outside because it was pretty empty for lunch in the middle of the week. The hostess looked mad that we actually walked in, and hardly spoke to us the entire visit. The food is just ok, with the distinct exception of the appetizer meatballs which were delicious.

Food and service were fantastic! The olives and olive oil with the homemade bread were amazing! Get one of the homemade pastas and save room for dessert.

Easily overlooked restaurant in Brookline. Good quality food, layered flavors. We had one incident before leaving where I would have expected a little bit more courtesy from the staff. Other than that, you can expect a good dining experience.

I went to La Morra for dinner during Boston Dine Out. I had a four course meal and a drink. My waiter was lovely throughout the evening giving suggestions as we navigated the menu. She even gave an extra dessert at the end. The restaurant itself was cozy and had a really nice atmosphere. The drink I ordered was the La Morra and it was as visually appealing as it was delicious. The food was really nice as well from the arugula salad to the oyster risotto. Would love to go back again!

Quiet. Good Italian fare including gluten free options if that's important to you. However, there is no longer valet parking here. The lot that is just past the restaurant is inaccessible. This means that if you drive to the restaurant you have gone too far to park. Take the next right, right again, drive a quarter mile, right again.. now you are coming back at the restaurant. Look for street parking. Bar tender will let you taste the wines ...take a moment to do that. There are some less typical wines available by the glass.
